Murphy, who joined the firm in August 2019, has been a valuable resource working with McDonald’s clients to complete their financials and compilations. in outsourced CFO services, QuickBooks and payroll.
Amy Murphy brought more than 20 years of accounting experience when she joined Abacus as an Associate, including considerable experience in payables, receivables, and financial statements. Her previous experience positioned her well within the firm and provided her with opportunities to grow and develop her skills to support clients more effectively. Amy reinforces her appreciation that the firm Partners and leaders have been beneficial in growing her confidence and helping her find her voice.
Amy’s role has grown and evolved since she started at Abacus. She has completed projects like CFO services, QuickBooks, and Payroll and now focuses her time on larger, more complex projects to better support clients. Amy has taken the lead on large payroll projects, completed essential client projects with a quick-turnaround, and increased her monthly compilation project load. She’s also been involved with payroll tax research, trains and guides newer employees and provides resources to help her coworkers more effectively support clients.
