The newly-created role will support professional development of firm employees

[Springfield, MO – March 30, 2021] – Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Emily Buckmaster joined the firm as the Supervisor of Excellence, a newly-created role that will support employee growth. Buckmaster, who most recently served as the Director of Career Planning & Development at Drury University, began her new role with Abacus on March 22.

Buckmaster has more than 17 years of experience with professional staff development, career coaching, recruiting, and goal setting.  She has been commended for her creativity and in-depth industry knowledge to engage and serve individuals by building and maintaining growth-mindset relationships.

As the Supervisor of Excellence, Buckmaster will support, encourage and motivate employees toward their professional goals, with a mix of motivation and accountability to encourage growth and development.  Buckmaster will collaborate closely with department supervisors to support leadership initiatives and encourage an enhanced client service orientation.  Buckmaster will serve as a member of the firm’s management and administration team.
