[Springfield, MO – May 5, 2021] – Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Brooke Shepherd has been awarded the Abacus Values Award of People Focus. Brooke, who joined the firm in January 2016 as the Receptionist at our PRIME location, now serves as a Coordinator for our Client Support Team in the Transportation Department. She specializes in making sure clients are always taken care of, especially with unique and complex situations.
Brooke has worked in teamwork-focused environments for many years, spending time in Retail before joining Abacus CPAs full-time. Throughout her time at Abacus, Brooke has been known for communicating with honesty, care, and consideration – characteristic traits of her “People Deserve Better” mentality.
“Clients are our number-one priority,” says Shepherd, “I have a great team around me to help each of us best serve the clients and always strive to do better for them.”
The Abacus Value Award of People Focus recognizes an employee who displays effective communication, respect, compassion and cooperation. Brooke, who has been commended for her growth mentality and her ability to handle difficult situations, was a natural choice for the award this year because of her authentic, positive focus on helping others as a valuable resource.
