[Springfield, MO – May 5, 2021] – Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Chris Abercrombie has been promoted to Consultant. Chris, who joined the firm in December 2016 as part of the Transportation Department, is a respected leader with strengths in developing others, personalized training, and positively influencing all situations.
Chris Abercrombie, who earned his Bachelors of Accounting in 2017 from Missouri State University, began his Abacus journey as an intern and later became a full-time employee, spending time in both Traditional and Transportation departments. Chris is currently the supervisor in the Transportation Tax Department where he focuses his time and energy to develop staff and interns, assist in the preparation of thousands of tax returns and quarterly projections each year, and review business and individual tax returns.
Chris has grown as a professional in many ways since joining Abacus, improving his technical skills and confidence. He also understands the value of effective communication and makes it a priority with his client interactions and his team members. Chris was recognized in December 2020 for his communication, leadership and influence by earning the “Abe’s Golden Microphone” Communication Award, the highest honor the firm bestows.
